Who else is a kink engineer and what have you made?

I find that store bought toys, gags, kink accessories just don't fit the bill for me.

I was tasked to improve some toys to be more sadistic.

But I have also made some of my own toys.

What items have you all improved and how did you improve them?

I've made spreader bars from adjustable metal painting poles. Cat, fox, and bunny masks from leather as well as ankle and wrist cuff sets and ball gags. I use paracord and leash hardware to make hogties, floggers, and of course leashes. I always prefer to build kinky items myself.

LOL, I made an adjustable spreader bar from an ornate curtain rod. Spreader bars seem to be amenable to creativity.

I have had metal cuffs welded onto 3' metal pipes. I have made several floggers. I have added spikes onto hog tie cuffs to make them more painful. I have added upholstery tacks onto a leather paddle and added a head harness and chin strap to a spider ring gag, then added spikes on the inside of the chin and neck strap for more pain.
