I’ve been listening to a lot of 90’s music lately and it occurred to me....I feel like in general there were a lot more references to BDSM in culture during that time than there are today. I know cultural references are not synonymous with acceptance, but what do you think?

Is BDSM generally more accepted or less accepted today?

What brought bdsm to the forefront has been the internet.
From there, media, books, etc...

If something is spoken about instead of whispered it becomes more acceptable.
