Can, not can't.

I can't/won't do this or that. I'm going to be a negative pessimist.

Then those people feel like massive idiots for turning into hypocrites at a later date. Positive change good. Being close minded bad. Got that?

I CAN do this. I consider the positive context of that.

These people accomplish more. Think outside of the box more. They don't focus on what they can't do. They focus on what they can do. And don't shut down the possibility in things just because it might SEEM like one thing when it could be another.

Some people harp on about can't. But those that "can" tend not too. The former tends to have more to worry about. The later simply makes things happen and seem to find happiness easier.

It doesn't matter how unlikely a situation might be. There's always the possibility. Even if we ourselves might think otherwise at the time. I can trust someone that considers the possibility. I can't trust someone that is closed minded and acting like X situation is "the worst thing in the world" with missing context. At least not until I pull teeth using facts and logic to disprove their irrational fears.

But more to the point are you someone that focuses on what you CAN do? Or do you act "negative"?

perhaps more importantly you CAN. You simply CHOOSE not too. This might seem obvious. But if you tell yourself you can't do something often enough eventually you end up being a defeatist. First that situation. Then the next. This can lead to self loathing and self destruction. That's what fearing only the worst of situations does. "inaccurate assumptions". Confusion and lies. Missing context. Or otherwise assuming the worst of the context only you know.

Not sure why I felt the sudden urge to post this. But I've been through and seen too much negativity to know how harmful it can be. Especially if a dom is pessimistic. Hypocrisy itself isn't always a bad thing when it leads to positive outcomes. But I could do without the closed minds and contradictions. They cold too. So, you know, never tell yourself you can't to ensure you avoid being a hypocrite in the first place?

Edit: Oops. I posted this in lifestyle. Should really be more of a general topic. Then again a positive/negative mindset dues define ones life.
