The perfect sub
I hadn't noticed it before, but they seem to follow me everywhere no matter what I'm doing. I could be in the shower, cooking, fixing whatever around the house. I had always imagined the perfect sub to act like this, but here are my two black fur babies everywhere I go. Anyone else have this simplistic enjoyment in their lives and can relate it to the lifestyle?

it was pointed out to me a few decades ago that trades people when kneeling to do their job, that I treated them differently. Now it always makes me smile when I have to deal with them....But now days I do try watch myself.
I love how little things like this cross over. |

Give it time. Years from now there's bound to be "lack of interest" concerns for some reason or another. Which will then prompt a communication talk.
Actually, scratch that. Pre-empt it now by having a talk about why they follow you around. Unless those talks have already been had. Maybe you're simply upfront and clear enough about what you want/need while making sure you see to theirs already without those talks being had. But just in case, may as well have a talk about it. Which in itself might lead to talking about what to do and making things happen. Just, you know, let people relax at times if they don't follow you all the time. This in turn could mean "order/obedience" talks could be in order. Maybe a "Tell me what you want/need and vice versa" talk. Know what. consider making a list of things to talk about and see how much you can knock off while working in a movie/show to watch or something. |
