Designing women Teen wild Any of the Earnest movies Rikki tiki tavi Troy The three musketeers (the one with Tim Currey because hot damn that man is a sexy bad guy lol) Mr Nanny Pumpkinhead The land before time movies (at least the first two lol) The Truman show Junior Dead like me Any Hitchcock movie We need to talk about Kevin (it’s not great, but it’s ok) Plague dogs (but OMG if you’re a dog lover like me, you WILL cry!) If you are just looking for any titles that list could be endless. Here’s a wee list of films that have had a huge impact on my life in terms of world view and just general life...I’ll leave the reasoning pretty ambiguous but a wee summary below each.
My favourites are Night of the living dead (original) The zombie film that started it all, watched it so many times and has not lost its edge despite being nearly 50 years old. The Wickerman Another classic horror, British this time, avoid the nick cage version like the plague. The original is slow but the pay still sends chills up my spine. Bubble boy This is more recent, comedy. It totally changed my life. Such a positive theme throughout. I have many more but these are always my go tos. |
