The Grey Wolves series by Quinn Loftis as well as the offshoot series, The Gypsy Healers.
Book 15 of the GWS just dropped at midnight. I had pre-ordered it and I'm on page 130 right now. She is a reachable author and will talk with you via FB messenger. She is a wonderful person. |

I've read everything she's written and even all her essays and keynote speeches that used to be available on the now defunct human sexuality dot org website. I also belonged to her newsgroup 25 years ago - way back in the day of those things and was lucky enough to establish an email friendship with her. I can't conceive of *anyone* more knowledgeable than she on the intricacies of our chosen kink. She shoots from the hip, can be sarcastic, scathing and damned funny - all at the same time. The Marketplace series and her "The Murderer Wore Leather" books are my go to kinky reading choices. Always. |

Some reading highlights for me:
Books about sex or kink I like are: The Image - Jeanne De Berg. I hadn't heard of Women's Rites/Scenes from the Erotic Imagination so thanks for that tip Venus in Furs - Leopold Sacher-Masoch for evenings I am dreaming of serving a Domme Story of 'O' - Pauline Reage for weekends I am in charge. I'm surprised that hasn't been mentioned. 9 1/2 Weeks - Elizabeth McNeill. As mentioned above, the film is OK-ish but the book is much better Various online story sites e.g. Lush Books about other stuff I like are: Blue of Noon - George Bataille Cities of the Red Night - William Burroughs The Farewell Party - Milan Kundera Sanctuary - William Faulkner Heart of Darkness - Joseph Conrad |
