Read, think, ask, repeat. You don't want to look for the 'right one', you want to look for thoughts, ideas and comments that resonate with you. The kind that make you say, "Stop reading my mind!", things that tweak and excite the new parts of you that you're exploring.
When you find one of those things, read that thread, click through onto that person's profile, see what else they've blogged and written. Follow up on book, website and blog suggestions, and learn more about the whole spectrum of BDSM, not just the parts that appeal to you.
As you do that, questions and thoughts will come up. Reach out either publicly or privately to folks that see things in ways that make sense to you. Take that feedback, talk through things, and go back to reading and learning with that new knowledge.
This is a brand new world for you. As you learn more about it, you'll figure out where you fit and where you don't want to go. You'll learn and hear about other people's mistakes and successes, and be much better equipped to go out there and find folks to make your own mistakes and success stories.
Read, think, ask, repeat.
