So am I to believe I am wasting my time on here? Trying to meet someone for long term relationship?

I wouldn't say you are wasting your time, but your chances increase as you become more experienced and involved in the lifestyle, which should include communication with people from both sides of the slash and going to things like munches and parties. Figure out what you have to offer (outside of sex) and I think you are well on your way.
