The Term: Little one

Wouldn't be a term I'd like for myself, but I don't really know what I'd prefer exactly. I'd maybe go with "little" to combine endearing with degrading, like "my little slut" 🤔

I love it, well i think, ive never been called that but it would have to be genuine. Theres some that just make me melt like baby girl also.

I find the term to just be a bit of a mouthful, in the sense that it doesn't seem to fit naturally in the flow of spoken conversation.
I've never heard it said in a way that didn't sound tacked on, or just a bit clumsy. If that makes sense.

It just doesn't roll off the tongue like other terms of endearment. One or two syllables for a pet name is the sweet spot I think.

Exception: Babydoll. This one hits differently, I think just because of the cadence.

For me, it would depend on how it is being used. Tone, context, and who's using it. I personally like it as a term of endearment when used "properly"

I like being called little anything, it makes me feel petite and adorable. Even when my Dom uses it condescendingly, I still enjoy these types of nicknames. never been the type to use it on anyone myself though.
