Finally feeling comfortable

gprincesssub(sub female) • Sep 25, 2018
Finally, saying the words.
Finally, feeling comfortable in my own skin.
Finally, not feeling ashmed of who I am.
Finally, being able to say I am a submissive.
Now, to start learning how to be a good submissive!

I like that you posted this. I have suppressed my submissive side for many years. Finally I let go and accepted it. Accepted myself. I don’t know the answer to your question, as I am still trying to figure that out. I do know I like myself for finally accepting that this is what I like and who I am!

Hi @ gprincesssub, that’s really awesome to hear icon_smile.gif I understand how daunting it can be, and I know the desire you have to want to become the best you can be for Him/Her. I think reading is a good place to start... read blogs, forums, books (there are forums that have recommended readings... also google will become your best friend lol), listen to podcasts. I would also suggest to start writing. It really helps with thoughts and to learn about yourself as you go... you can also share it with your Dominant. Research the different aspects of the lifestyle to help get an understanding of the different dynamics that people identify as, and to help you find the things that resonate with you. The best thing you can do for a potential Dominant, is get to know yourself, and learn to communicate that. Explore, have fun and stay safe icon_biggrin.gif
