As a younger man I struggled to express what I wanted in both vanilla and BDSM contexts. (I have little issue expressing what I want now.)
Looking back, I believe it was a matter of low self worth. There are other reasons, but they all roll up to a lack of self esteem. @Chattel I'm curious what prompted the question if you don't mind sharing. |

In my experience, all men have a hard time expressing what they want in a relationship and how they feel, but that's just been my personal experience.
