We've made a few changes to our blog system and how it functions. We hope you'll find blogging even easier than before! Here is a summary of the changes:
Drafts - until now it was possible to switch every post between 'on air' to 'draft', this now has changed. A draft is now a post you've written and never made public. When you write a new post you can either publish it or keep it as a draft - and maybe publish it sometimes in the future. A draft can be published only once, and publishing is irreversible, when a draft is published - the date of publishing becomes the effective day by which posts are sorted in the blog. It is at this time that followers receive a notification about your blog update and that also bounces your blog of some blog lists, like the one in the site front page. It is still possible to inactivate a published post at any time and reactivate it - a published post status can be toggled between active and hidden. Status changes have no effect on the post publish date. We have also added inline toggle switches to the post list in blog management, allowing users to easily select which posts should be active or hidden from a single page without a hassle. We hope you find these changes helpful. Now it's time to get blogging! |
