As the subject suggests, I thought it would be fun for people to say something they enjoy and something they don't enjoy about this collective thing we call BDSM.

I'll start.

I love all the darling ladies I get to meet in this lifestyle and how open we can be about our interests and wants early on.

I don't enjoy trying to explain in as vague as possible terms where I met these ladies.

When I was active I enjoyed being just a no strings, one night (or several "one nighters") sessions and screws... and being able to walk away not owing anyone anything

What I don't enjoy is people asking in PMs and messages using that term...

Definitely not anything sparked by or aimed at the O P. I do not want it to look that way... Anyway I cringe when asked "How I fit into or like 'the lifestyle'."

I just want to be out and open as many things are these days.

As for a better reply to Part 2... what I don't like is if / when someone goes sweet on me even though I made it clear I don't do relationships or extended term dynamics... It feels just as bad if not worse to inform them "No, thanks, I indicated I can't get involved beyond a hook up or series of them." ....as it is for them to... read it.

I enjoy: snooping dom male profiles just so I can go, 'oooh you sound nice', or more often, 'what a twat'. (to myself, rarely passed on to said profilee)

I don't enjoy: Sunday night keyboard warriors. Wife must be having a long leisurely bath, and they clearly think, 'I'll log on for my once a week perv fest and message the tits I like'. At least another week till they log in again.....

Something I enjoy....hmmm, many things. Where to start...I guess, instead of listing certain fetish activities I'll just say: Learning more, not only about my own sexuality, but about that of others, the wide range of sexual adventures that are out there, and the human condition in general. I was gonna say something more specific like "strap on play" but, a lot of people enjoy that!

Something I do not enjoy- Just the predatory, scamming, exploitative aspect of those who would take advantage of us submissives, both online and in person. Or people who are shallow and manipulative without being willing to form a deeper lasting connection.

Agreed, but for the the other half. I snoop ladies profiles for similar reasons all the time, its my own version of private gossip. Who is new, how are they presenting themselves and how long will they stay. Always a joy to come across a well written profile.
