Most of my connections are friends with benefits to some degree though I would call the girls I am seeing more in line with a girlfriend. The two fellas I see are more on the FWB scale. One is my dom to some extent and the other we are mainly friends who are cuddly and beneficial physically sometimes. I love all of them, but I do celebrate my freedom as well as their freedom.

I think it can vary hugely. But it usually implies a lesser degree of involvement, commitment, even care.

I've enjoyed relationships which are FWB in nature, some of which provided great connection and experiences. No regrets. But they were never what I was actively seeking. More stop gap or specific to an experience I wanted. Most stayed friends well beyond the benefits but.
