What embodies servitude , in the BDSM life style it is the only key to activate the serving sense

In my not so humble opinion, servitude is becoming a lost art.

People want to do the cool, chic things like spankings and rope dresses and the like, but the scoff at real serving.

Bringing coffee, serving food, taking coats in the chilling days, that is too much to ask.

Years ago, I was told by a perspective sub " I want erotica, not house chores."

I'm not sure I understand the original post....

But I think servitude is linked to obedience. And I agree with TD in that its not necessarily linked to the Sex and kink and 'fun' sides of things.

For me, serving is linked to my devotion, my desire and drive to please, to be found pleasing.

And I've found deep connection and reward from doing so, when the person im serving, in whatever way, appreciates that service in the right way. It's all about the connection and mutual understanding.

It might be something obvious and clearly utilitarian and useful, like cleaning. Or it might be cooking a gourmet meal. Or any number of other things.

It all comes down to the mutually understood game and dynamic.

Servitude doesn't activate the serving sense. Knowing what it takes to own you and then finding it, truthfully in all sense, that activates the serving sense.

Servitude does not necessitate ownership. It can (and should be) inspired by leadership.
