Why

I message, receive positive response, and immediately get blocked before I can respond. Not the first time this happened. So is it a glitch or bug or ppl not realizing they hit a button?

It may simply be that it's a quick and easy way for a person to have identified (for their own reasons) that they do not wish to engage any further. End the matter instantly. As I am regularly told, it is the internet way. People block for any number of reasons. And then it's onwards and upwards.

Why not?
It's rude, effective and gets the message across, also says more about the person than any profile they have posted.
That being said, not the type of person I would choose to be associated with.

idk, she could've been freaked out by a caged artificial mini lighted Chistmas tree or maybe she only celebrates Festivus?? Hmmm, we may never know... but I have to agree with Ms. Sincorrigible "And, then it's onwards and upwards". Good luck!

Sounds strange to the point of making no sense.

All I can think of is what I sometimes "almost" do: I delete messages after reading and replying, but at the bottom , the "Delete Message" button is right next to the "Block Joe Blow" button and one with crappy eyesight or just not paying attention could hit the wrong button, so it could be that.

Or, it could be just that you ran across a 2-legged sack of pus not worth a second thought.

House Scallion seems OK in my book, for whatever my "book" is worth at Dollar General--- But I doubt its like he weirded her out or anything, but that's only my impression.

So... The only abrupt blocking I get is from various switches or sub dudes who realized --- only after actually reading my profile that I re-enabled visibility of my "role" so as to make it clear to switches and sub males that I'll answer everyone, converse with anyone but I am a masochist, not a domme or a switch so I will not be charging to their asses with a strap-on in this lifetime. Soooo I s'poze they took it all personal like.

But like my two cents to the OP, people who do that aren't worthy of a second thought. Kinda like bare asses in a nudist colony:

"Just another smile in the crowd."

I've had it happen like twice and I just assume that they're uncomfortable because they're out of their depth or something. Really none of my business.

In a perfect world it'd be great if we could all get/give explanations, but realistically there are way too many creepy and obsessive people out there.

I am also having issues with a Dom. The last I heard from him was Sept 12. Silence since. I texted him today and asked if there was a reason for his silence, but no response so far.

Previously he wanted to collar and own me. He also said he was going to stick and stay in my life.

So .... who knows what really goes on, on the other side of the slash for any of us.

It could be any number of reasons and the list is so long. But for most it boils down to ... "Sh*t got real"
