Good grief... silliness abounds.

Each kitchen appliance has its own purpose and function.

I take the whole exchange above as a "ha-ha" because anyone who has spent time with air fryers and toasters know that a toaster works like a broiler and an air fryer a fancy counter-top convection oven.

Personally I stir my coffee with a fork, and anyone who takes note of that as odd... I am generous with issuing dumb looks.

And as for that site.. Never been on it or anywhere that moderators cruise the threads like sharks in the water. Never will be.

Conversely, anyone who insists I refer to them in terms like "it" or "bitch"--- has issues that ought not be forced upon other members. But the solution is fairly simply. One can always ignore such a person if that shit makes one uncomfortable. If enough people jst dial "it" and "bitch" out--- that person will eventually connect the dots and go away. Problem Solved.

Fet forums are fucked up beyond anything else in the entire space/time continuum.

And that includes American Politics.

This kinds of bullshit has been going on for decades now. Back in the day, it was the Gorians slaves who went around calling themselves "this girl" or "this slave" in third person. Now I never gave a shit how they referred to themselves. However, when they went and called me "Master", I would draw the line. If you weren't my property, then you didn't get to call me Master. Simple as that.

You would not believe the amount of people who would go off on them for referring to themselves in 3rd person. Even the other s types would blow a gasket when they saw that. This isn't forcing their kinks on others. It is their world view.

But let me ask you this:

What about transgendered people? Particularly PreOps. Are they forcing their viewpoint on others when they refer to themselves in another gender?

Some of the best conversations in groups are back 10 yrs or so, adjust accordingly. You can Use search bar inside the group or just go to last page and come forward! Picking to read, leaving the rest..

Some of my best lightbulb moments used to come from indulging/reading through the older comment. You may already be aware ..

Yeah, well, if pushing something down to see if it gets hot, is a toaster, then that's what a forum is. God forbid, if you're some place, you have to wait in line to use the toaster, the militant moderator is the asshole who cuts in front of everybody puts his bread in and takes the toaster away when you complain.

I don't have a toaster because I can't see providing space for something with such limited function. Even my rice cooker makes a good steamer.

Yes, the moderator is a militant control freak whose moderation should be limited to the written rules of the forum. Period. Be a toaster, moderator.

Damn, but I gotta get my hands on an air fryer. I never knew, and wouldn't if I hadn't read this.

Watch out air fryers

I recently bought a basic toaster for $10 at Wal Fart. Limited function or not, it beats the crap out of using the oven broiler to toast the bread and my air fryer only dries the shit out. If I want all the spongy goodness of a steamed hot dog bun 25 seconds in the nuclear box does the trick. Just as good as the ballpark dogs.

That aside, a basic toaster is so light and small that once cooled off I just invert it over the trash, tap out any crumbs and stick it in the cabinet. No bones about it.

Then again everyone's kitchen is different. I have abundant counter space for not only the usual shit like my air fryer, rice cooker, a real steamer, a coffeemaker, and an old "George Foreskin" grill for burgers and crap like that... with room to spare.

Plus the previous owner of the place did a remodel on the kitchen a number of years back (I already swapped out the appliances when the original refrigerator shit the bed and the dishwasher started acting funky...) But anyway the guy had a hard-on for electrical outlets so I have plenty of receptacles to plug those in and still available slots for my phone charger and a kitchen television.

As always, different strokes and different pokes. What works for me may not for others and vice versa. "Makes the fucking world go round" and all that happy horseshit.

OK in the defence of the toaster's burn marks lets me ask this. How many of you Have not wanted a few marks on your backside or the front at one time or the other? Air fryers are great (need to get one) but I like to keep it simple in the morning.

Still not being able to say "this is who I am" is not right in this age. I tell people the truth I am an asshole don't like it move on because I will not become what you think I should be. He/him she/her it/they I don't care what you call yourself just be true to yourself. Also if I choose not to call you by those names it is also my choice. Does not mean I do not respect you or will stand up next to you to defend your rights. Just understand mine as well.
