I absolutely love primal play. I've commented on it before and continue to engage as often as I can with my partners. To fantisize is one thing, but to actually find yourself in the thick of it, and feel that heat in your chest as you let go and actually start to see how we really are not so far removed from the predators we once were. It's an addictive feeling.
You are correct in your recommendation that safety and consent are foremost. There is a lot that can go wrong, even when merely simulating reckless abandon, but once you have done your due diligence both with familiarizing the external and internal, you will find that it is completely worth it, especially if you can truly dive into the psychological element. There is little that can compare to the prey entering into the scene with the mindset that they must escape at all costs, but understanding that, on that eternal primordial level, they are designed to fall before the predator; the idea that, in the face of absolute consequence, futility is a moot point. On the flip side, the feeling you get while watching that pitiful little creature fleeing into the forest or abandoned building or wherever you are is intoxicating. When you start after them, hear their footsteps and clumsy flight; catch a whiff of sweat or a glimpse of bare flesh against the backdrop. You are encouraged to do everything in your power to get away, but in the end, there is no stopping the predator. |

Okay, I must confess I attached more meaning to utility pole than its shape which is why I was ROTFLMAO. I was once told after some fun, and, in fun, "You know this isn't a utility." And I'm in no way implying that function was intended by your metaphor. Just coming from my own personal experience, it was hilarious. Also, I love your shape

@ incandescentoldman... I didn't read anything into it that you shouldbe concerned about. Other metaphors are "bean pole" but that's for the tall thin reedy types. But you get the picture.
@misterashtraymodal: I get it fantasizing is a far cry from being involved in a primal chase and catch... I do that now (fantasize) just when pleasuring myself as I'm "retired" from the physical aspects of kink.. but when younger I'd have played that game gladly but for lack of somewhere "safe" from the wrong eyes... For legit peepers I would have been all in as I also have exhibitionist qualities...
