From Submissive to Switch?
I am a lifelong submissive who has always been curious about playing with the other side of the dynamic and exploring my dominant side. My boyfriend, who has previously held the dominant title in our relationship, has told me he has the need to switch roles. He is very experience in BDSM and I am not aside from what I have learned in our relationship. This prospect is exciting but also nerve wracking and so I am here for advice. I am reading several books on Femdom but can't find any solid resources on the dynamics of switch relationships.
Any advice for a new switch? |

Sounds like you're on your way to a fun experience. I'm not sure about the switch aspect, but as a female dominant, you can have an exciting time.
I have been a Femdom sub for years and it sounds like your boyfriend will make a great sub, since he is on board. Be sure to take your time learning about your new roles, which reading can be helpful. In our research, we had trouble finding Femdom videos (highly recommend not using porn). We did find some D/s videos that were very helpful even though they had a male Dom & female sub - we just turned the roles around using their information. My Femdom has now made me a live-in 24/7 sub with a CFNM dynamic. It really is a wonderful lifestyle to explore. |

Any advice for a new switch? Hi Aria. Good on you for wanting to give it go. The reason your not finding any information in "femdom" books is because there isn't any "switching" roles in Femdom. The term Femdom (in the technical sense) implies set, non fluid roles (like maleDom or Lesdom etc). For example Men(or femsub) in Femdom ONLY have one role and the same for the female. If you talking Maledom, those are set roles too, that are not fluid or changing. You might find more switch materials using the term Female top. or Female Topping. Or mixed BDSM.
