"I'm into everything" is the Dom version of the "No limits slave".

Utter bullshit.

I'm a seriously perverted mfer who's into things that can only exist in fantasy and even I am not into "everything", so yeah, this.

You never know what kind of experience someone has had. I have chatted with Doms who aren't aware of the depth and breadth of the community and what BDSM offers. One who has had many online subs had never read a BDSM checklist. Some people just learn as they go while others dive in and study up. We all started somewhere and with limited awareness.

This is why vetting has a learning curve. It is best not to assume anything.

Agreed. This can be true; but it's a very different thing to say "I am into everything" as opposed to "I'm learning and exploring what I'm into." The mindset that would go into making the first statement is not the one you described, unless it's just made from a perspective of hubris, or at best from a perspective akin to Dunning-Kruger. Still something I'd avoid if a Dom has this perspective.

It is certainly a learning curve. A lot of people jump into it with tons of intense feelings- Sub frenzy you call it, but little knowledge or experience or even really knowing what they are seeking. So they say they are "into everything" without really knowing anything about what "Everything" can actually entail.

They see videos of whips, cuffs, and paddles, but don't realize that there is so much more, such a wide variety in the levels of dynamics: For example, 24/7 slave versus part time play, total full-time Gorean role-play, versus part time light bondage play, or even a relatively kink-less female (or male) led relationship with plenty of protocols but less "Fun," or kink/submission and dominance within a loving full-time relationship. Not to mention, there is a lot more "Activities" out there than just whips, cuffs and paddles. Lots of people are turned on by different things- and at the same time, horrified by the very idea of certain other things, which become "hard limits" to more seasoned submissives.

I mess with these people so much. "Oh so you're really into cannibalism?" They almost ALWAYS freak out or respond with "No!" And then some sort of follow up cop out response. Ive had a few respond that they are and they explained and then I was the terrified one. 🤣

Got it!
