Depends on the reasoning for the loneliness. If my partner is just more busy than usual I remind myself they still love me, want to be with me, etc and try to redirect myself towards something I want to do. Also, I've learned when I'm feeling particularly anxious about my partner to text or respond I'll put my phone on do not disturb and some times even put it in another room.
For anyone with anxious attachment there are some great books about it out there. And this many sound weird but when I'm feeling like that I'll go read those books. It helps while dealing with the feelings to read how to help it. Now, if you're lonely because your partner is ignoring you. That's not ok (unless that's your thing? 🤷🏼♀️ Kink is confusing sometimes hahaha). Talk to them. Tell them how you're feeling. Or "hey I'd like to do some more things." (Scene, tasks, whatever....) But just talk to them. They might not be aware because things have fallen into a rut perhaps or maybe they're dealing with something. All kinds of things can happen. When loneliness happens it might just mean you have to do you more. Like seeing friends, family, go do fun things, meet some new people, or find a new hobby (do not recommend if you have ADHD...go check the closet there's I'm sure an old hyperfixation there). |
