Is anyone else encountering this? It seems like there has been an influx of late with a number of new members coming in and quickly ghosting after conversation or outright deleting.

Seems more common than in the past…

I'm new.

Some newbies decide that this place isn't for them and pack their virtual bags and leave, some give it X amount of time to see if it grows on them and others take to it like a fish to water and make it their kinky home.

I've yet to establish contact with anyone, so ghosting is not possible in my case.

I'm still surveying the place and deciding whether I'll stay or not.

This pretty much explains it, a little complicated.
Some are not ready they can want it but they feel they not be for them they still working on things they may still have demons they still dealing with. But if brought up by another person they get you on feeling connection level , they can show you help you but you have to be willing evolve with them. No book but gotta heal with the dark past. Your past is not your future, your present is what you make it now its your choice how you want to be. Someone who is willing to see through all of it with you, you share the madness together. Take what you feel but what helps you.


But all in one in the source. Not saying religious but light with the dark all the symbols with one source what I was taught cause I don't have religion more all in one. You will have people that will hurt , scare , love , leave its sign we have to pay attention to make the person you meant to be. I've been ghosted but I only left those that did not respect me my light but I will tell after few mins them I give it breather send peace. Some may not align may ghost with out question ya its hard but just saving both I guess.

But one scared me, I scared them back, my sign was not comparable with theirs.

Just cancer signs are sensitive is are strength but we do rise up never mess with it anyone really cause you can lose a good person. But can show you when they backfire. Reflection is you treat others you going to get back if you give crap be ready for shit. No harm, but a warning: treat yourself well so you can get it back. World needs peace no blaming anyone just adjusting the energy you want to get back. If you want to win the lottery with abundance treat life with gratitude and only give out free energy, not your own. Flow good things come when your busy but flow with the energy you wake up with it flow it allow to come let go of the things that are no longer. If you want love you have to be love every were even in your mind and how you speak. Love and peace grounding.

It's just a common thing that happens with online chatting in general. Especially with new people. The newbies come in and look around. Trying to figure things out. Get bored or chat with a weirdo or something and leave. Not saying that there's alot of weirdos. There are alot of good people here. Who knows why they ghost or leave. Don't take it personally.
I for one don't usually ever reply back if my last reply wasn't answered. I just assume that they don't want to talk to me anymore and leave them alone. If I decide I don't want to talk to them anymore I will tell them not to message me anymore. They blocked me. Rude, but hey that works to.

Nothing at all wrong with that... checking a site out, seeing who's who and how the place rolls and if it's not what one is looking for, they leave.

But it's not correct to call this trial and error stuff "ghosting". Ghosting as I understand it, is where a conversation is going well, and then one side just stops communication, no "goodbye" or anything. No reasons need be given but it's courteous to let the other party know when one is not going to continue.

And of course it's not "ghosting" if someone won't take "No thanks" or "It's been great but I'm done" for an answer. In that case you just gotta shut the door.

That's my take on it but I don't know whether or not "ghosting" has other various and sundry applications. Words seem to change definitions these days fairly often.
