Sir or Daddy

I go by the feel of the dynamic, what have the parties come to agreement with. Every person is unique, some prefer to be called certain honorifics and others may have a diversion to such names.

Compromises can be made but also finding someone that is interested in that particular facet of the lifestyle is important. You stated you like being referred to as “Daddy”. Your best bet is to find that person that aligns with what you are looking for and achieving the dynamic that sets your heart and soul afire.

I wish you well with your journey.

I prefer Daddy for an honorific. It is the highest level honorific I could ever give.

Sir is for:
- correcting my dog when he's bad
- addressing strangers of the masculine persuasion
- talking to elder men I know
- sass

I also quite like unique honorifics... because not everyone can measure up to being Daddy.

I prefer Daddy. Sir is too stately and impersonal. Sir is what I say to other men I see along the way that I don't know their name.

It depends on the vibe and character of the relationship.

Sir and Master are definitely more formal and proper.

Daddy is more playful.

Sir is my preference. Daddy just doesn’t feel natural to me.
In my opinion though, the importance isn’t in the specific honorific (say that 3 times fast 😆), but the feeling/respect behind it.

I was living with my sub 7 yrs ago when as i was making breakfast one morning I felkt her slide behind me and give me a big hug then she said "morning Daddy". Just out of habit I said good morning tutrned around and kissing her forehead. It took a bout 45 seconds to remember this was the woman I had screaming for God just a few hours ago and not one of my daughters. I waited a few hours before I asked about it. We never had anything like a daddy/daughter thing going on.
Turns out she woke up and was felt safe and loved. She said there was no other word to explain how loved she felt. It felt good and strange. It was only said a few more times and I felt so loved when she did. Master Sir this I had heard many times but there was something about those times that still make my heart feal warm.

To me, the title itself is not nearly as important as when it is used. To me, unless the agreed upon title has been EARNED, it is pointless and meaningless blather...

In most public situations or when there is a stranger or someone from outside the lifestyle around (appliance repair guy, maintenance staff, Uber Driver, etc) then I expect Sir. If We are at home or in a situation with other people that know we live the lifestyle or are going to engage in sexual activity with us, Daddy is hot to me.
