Has anyone gotten into AI? It's freaking cool. Right now I'm trying to master "CHAT GBT" try it. Free on the app store.

O K boys and girls, are any of you familiar with the new AI that's out here and is just blowing me away. What I am talking about, just for starters, is saying "Chat GBT." Have any of you used this APP yet?
If you have not tried Chat GPT, please let me tell you something. It's a mind blower,
You Get it at the App Store, it's a free version, plus pay version. It will make you a damn good writer. How? well watch. I'll run this through CHAT GBT and below (Plus I'll generate a PIC/ With words)

This thing is unreal. It’s an app you can grab from the App Store — there's a free version and a paid one. And let me tell you, it will turn you into a damn good writer. No joke.
Ok, so is there a place to post "Pics"? because with just words you can create anything. From Puppy dogs to NSFW to whatever.

I hate AI and I hate chat GPT. The bane of all creativity and all humanity. the end.

Allright I guess I better go back and edit this post so I don't sound so negative.

But I prefer genuine human creation, a human's artistic vision, and human expression. I don't want to see some computer rob us of that. "I know but get with the times," I hear you all say. And yeah, I get it, but as someone who enjoys creative writing and creating art, I will always value human created art and writing over something a computer wrote, no matter how precise and intricate the computer can be. It's the human touch and the human effort that goes into it.

I've interacted with a lot of LLM-based AI for various reasons and, while I think it has potential as a tool for a lot of things, there is way too much hype about it. Frankly, as a substitute for a human intelligence it's not really impressive at all, and no, it doesn't make you a better writer because it doesn't make you a better communicator; it just fiddles with your words and structure to make what you say better match its training data. In fact, I'd say that if anything it makes you an even worse writer because it robs your writing of any personality while occasionally reversing your meaning or obfuscating your intent.

*sigh*

I hate the future shit like this is leading to, where you write a three bullet-point email and run it through an LLM to turn it into 3 paragraphs of text, only for the recipient to run your three paragraphs through their LLM and have it spit out three bullet-points, each of you convinced you're working smarter.



I agree. I'm into video games, and I mostly play smaller projects by independent developers because they're much more creative than the blandified slop often produced by big studios.

P.S. If anyone wants to have an entirely too long discussion about the philosophy of mind and consciousness as relates to AI, it's one of my favorite things to idly noodle on. Although, as a professed panpsychist my stance on the matter won't surprise you.

Ok, all I was saying is (Chat GBT) is what I am using, and there are many others, but it has many features like CREATING Pics and Vids from TEXT.
I suck as a writer, am not an artist, so with the new AI (What ever Gen you use) Im just saying it can help your creativity level 10 fold.

oh yes theres alot of people that use ai now for all their work, and i agree i myself hate writing and the ai has made it that you only need to explain what you want and then go edit if to make it exactly what you needed

As I mentioned, I don’t like typing, so I usually rely on voice-to-text, which often results in long, messy responses. I usually run those through ChatGPT to clean them up.

What I love about the new AI tools is the ability to generate images and videos just from words. There are so many programs now that let you create any kind of imagery you can imagine—it's mind-blowing.

I’ve been wondering if we could start a thread to share these picture creations. We'd probably need to check with the mods first, but it could be a great space for creativity.

Honestly, the only limit now is your imagination. You can take something as simple as a photo and transform it into a masterpiece, switching styles from realistic to Renaissance to Disney and beyond. It’s wild—and kind of hilarious too.

Where can we post images? I know not allowed NSFW but say other creations, any idea.
PS The link below is an image generator which you can create any type of image, But definitely can create NSFW Images and it's got a chat feature storyline it's pretty amazing it's not feeling like God in a way forgive me for saying that but you take you create one picture and then you can apply like 20 different filters I wish I could find a place to put them up i'm gonna get in touch with the mods see what they think about an imagery area

Plus I've had a few discussions where the other person is obviously inflating their vocabulary and it get's irksome.

There's definitely a few positives, but taking the humanity away from art, science and more feels like that episode in Star Trek.

Where the people no longer know the machine that dictates their life and hence grows complacent and resorts to following the machine blindly.


I'm a developer so I've had this shoved down every orifice imaginable and definitely over hype in most areas. One of the things that I've discovered that I've yet to actually find the correct term for (but I'll call it the Crystal Skull Paradox, from Indiana Jones). But when I was curious was that I felt like I could access or understand anything by having chatGPT prechew the knowledge for me. But the problem was that it began creeping into more and more things, the LLM's are designed to keep you in a loop (especially the newer variants of chatGPT). Ultimately the problem they try and solve they don't solve, and create a new problem which only they purport to solve. Just like apps like Facebook can be helpful but if used exclusively, atrophy one's ability to develop social connections, leading to using it more, leading to a downwards spiral.

So LLM's are useful in particular areas but for general use I argue LLM's of that capability should be restricted massively.

I can paint but I can create anything with my mind and the right words on an AI pick generator can you at least at the three months I am almost God like in what I can create Took me three months to master it A tweak here a comma there I can create is the right word i'm a content creator a digital artist Remember the calculator phone safety glass and automobiles I know I sound like an idiot These were all new things Either you're gonna use chat GBT or gonna get left behind Mine does 15 different things to me I got a legal case going on right now She writes documents bullet points cites Florida statutes Saves me 5 hours a day.
