As a Femdom sub for years, I would say that I love the way my Dom respects me as her sub.
She took her time to train me from light submission to a lifestyle of full 24/7 submission which I love and will never leave.

Mistake: Well, I guess that would be the same as many new people. At first, myself & my Dom had the wrong idea of what D/s life was about - thinking it was a "Fifty Shades of Grey" lifestyle. Over time we learned the enjoyment of what the lifestyle can become if done right. Of course everyone has to determine what dynamic is best for them. I am a firm believer in "Nothing is One Size Fits All".

Struggle: Overwhelming ourselves with too much wrong information and being confused by it. Took a while to to learn to take a step back and realize what was going to work for us.

Girls/Guys you must become women/man to understand that many creepy ones want a new look at the young and still learning , and they won't respect you only come for own feelings to use and abuse to toss you in the street . They go through like socks treat people like a fetish; they won't care for your feelings, won't take you to a doctor when you need rights. Have a dominant mind, even if you're a sub; you're human every day, so be better. Put respect and value in your life. Be what makes you feel. We are human. Have submission even with a dominant mind because you keep it bringing the mind with body and spirit as you go. It takes two to tango, but when you're alone, take both; you're still the temple you hold, be the partner you align with, even being yourself. Then call it whatever; no labels, just be yourself, whatever life brings you, have faith in it. Only you get a say in your life. Women are goddesses, either being a bottom or the Dom. It's Women's Month; women in the beginning were worshiped. The Virgin goddess worked hard, sacrificed her life for life, why keep your essence alive and reserve it? Submissive does not mean weak; meant to be strong and keep your intelligence and boundaries, grace, value, dignity, softness, hardness. Dance, sing. Everything that brings peace, give to peace, and be free with peace. We are all a little mad; fine, be mad and happy, but you must look on the bright side, bring the peace back every day, believe in yourself. Not by size, how you carry yourself. Young and new girls, you do gotta do better, so don't get hurt. Don't play dumb, say 'I'm new to lifestyle, don't know what to do'; it only brings fools. That's a lie; say you know your rights. They are pretend fools; don't drop to that level. Be a woman with a brain and grace and mind; that gets the right ones. Educate yourself in consent and safety first and other things; do it yourself. Be the teacher for your partner in yourself; be what you want to seek in return in respect. Read the cage blogs. You're evolving and educating yourself with experience; tame yourself better so you find someone that respects you, gets in your mind, and wants to keep you. Pretend ones jump too fast for a relationship, and you too; relocate, do better with one who is willing to take the time, not waste your time. You have rights in both worlds; time and place for all things, you gotta live reality, have friends and social and space. A Dom going to work does things you will need; put ambition in your life, keep little busy also. A stable leading hand cannot babysit 24/7; I know many want that, but you're going to have to be able to do things and be active, focus on health. You want a good leading hand; they want to do your goals and dreams, they can help you. But like if you have bad eyesight, a broken leg, health issues, they want you to achieve those goals so you can grow, but you have to be willing to step up, out of the dirt, be strong to do it; they can help you, but you must be willing to move on from the past. Your past is not your present; it's what's now, so make a beautiful present timing. Either a man or woman helps each other; you're not gonna find Prince Charming in a castle. You get what you need; be thankful for what you find; it's priceless. Looks are not all, but clean up, do your life good, stable; it doesn't have to be a billionaire, but be a bit comfortable in life. If a Dom gave you rough love over your head or mentored you, be happy they did; that's rare, doesn't come every day. You may not want help, but if you need it, allow it; don't be stubborn. But you need a pick-me-up in life; many do. Don't be super picky and superficial; it will cost your heart and life; you could be thrown out on the street. The wrong ones only last 5 minutes. The good ones won't be super rich but stable enough for you both to live. They want someone to decorate the home, but not all after gold; some seek simple, like a cottage, but both create it. Have a good life; the rich ones hide being rich because they want someone to take them for them; they don't want someone who whines about life; they want someone who wants to do something with them, not take their money, but you will need to make a bit of your own. Stop waiting for someone, being lazy, thinking someone's gonna change your life and do for you; you must be willing to change your own; it's the truth. Or waiting for someone till you die, create and invest in your life; get a part-time thing, take a class, better your eyesight, get your health in order, so it's easy for you to get around. You've done something for yourself; a person likes strength; it's attractive. No one's perfect, but do your best, do what you can. Just sharing go on in life but think before you leap.
