The new Mail system

Thank for all of the feedback everyone - this new feature is continuing to roll out and we appreciate all of your feedback, whether given in this thread or to us directly.

well, "you turn" button just changed the whole mail system for me lol. what a good addition.

This system utterly sucks. I just closed a message thread and now it won't open the entire thread. It stops at the first page. The old system worked way better.

Not in so many words, but I second that. it's still just a work in progress, I hope.

I want to express sincere appreciation for the hard work put in for the latest and greatest message system, and I don't want to come across as a meanie---- but for me it begs the question "Why?"

Through it all it strikes me as re-inventing the wheel.

Please try not to succumb to the old saw:

"If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is"

That doesn't sound ideal at all, I want to be able to look back across an entire conversation, from start to most recent, not being able to do that, well what use is that?

Scroll down on the message page to go all the way to the beginning of the message thread . It's in order now. Oldest message is at the top.

No one sees you can search mail now?
With 189 pages of mail this is a godsend!

You can search for that email or phone number now. Across all messages.

This is worth the cost in itself!

I hear ya! I also switched back to regular flavor.

But I did want to test it out and make any gripes I have known for when the final product is streamlined and shipped out. I assume the new version will eventually become the default version and the old flavor done away with.

As for the New Message System: I'll wait for The Final Product to be rolled out for my final verdict.

If it remains a pain in the ass. I'll message less.

One of the downgrades of the new system compared to the old one is when it comes to deleting emails. The old version has a checkbox for each email, so you can select several and delete them. In the new version... you have to go one by one (if I’m not mistaken).

Is it possible to keep the BANNER at the top as you scroll down? Seems awkward to switch from MAIL to any other page. You can't see the BOND message indicator when in MAIL mode. Not as easy to jump from place to place.
