Bear competition
Oy.
What was I thinking ????? I am running in the local bear competition. I'm excited. I have won a title before. I am very very competitive BUT I am not a runner in this one. Being female bodied means I am at a distinct disadvantage. I have to remind myself that I'm there to have fun. I also say to myself--- I am BEARLUCCI!!!! Like Susan Lucci --- I compete every year and my job is to smile and clap for the winner !!!!! |

I am ready.
I've been practicing. I have all my support folks ready to go. I've talked to my handler. I have my changes of dress ready. I will not win. But I will not go down easy. |

I have 3 days until the competition.
I am prepping. Taking my time. I have my clothes ready to go and most of my props. My support folks have been updated. I talked to my handler- he said I am giving everyone a run for their money. My love and I were invited to the all Male sex and play party on Friday night. I was so honored but politely declined. Everyone is being amazing and I didnt expect that. |

Tonight is the meet and greet.
I'm cleaning my boots and prepping my props. I've made a list of everything I need. My only job is to meet the judges, pick my number, and be charming for an hour. I will also be meeting the other competitors. I can do that. |
