Health, diet, and exercise… What do you do?

Cello Trance{for You} • Nov 19, 2024
I wanted to open this discussion to see what you do to take care of yourself with what you eat and how you treat your body. I think it blends very well within this lifestyle because as a Dom, a master, a submissive, or a slave, I think most of us have a desire to please others, and to be the absolute best we can be.

A little bit about myself… I'm an alcoholic. I have been sober since December 10, 2013. Since then, there is been a gradual progression of physical, mental, and spiritual health. I was drinking, almost a gallon of bourbon a day, believe it or not. And I was also eating very poorly

It is my contention that the traditional American diet is possibly the worst diet that's been in the history of mankind, and I think people make a lot of money off our poor diet and lack of exercise, because then it sends us to the doctors to get increasingly more and more medication's

One of the most important decisions I made for my health is to completely stop eating sugar and white flour. Instead, I buy.Manuka Honey, And I buy protein plant powered tortilla wraps

Anyway, I've been on a quest to eat only healthy foods and this is what I do. I start every day with some healthy powders that I add to water and then heat up in the microwave… The powders I have are cacao powder, Which is extremely healthy… Mushroom coffee powder, beet powder, And chocolate, flavored organic vegetable protein Powder. To this I had a little bit of Manuka honey

I eat a lot of nuts and seeds… Which makes me feel very old-school. Like maybe I'm eating more like people did hundreds and hundreds of years ago. I have a combination of pumpkin seeds, which are extremely healthy, walnuts, and Brazil nuts that I eat together

I make blender drinks, One that has beets, celery, ginger, paprika, and organic pomegranate juice.
I make another blender drink with watermelon, whole lemons… Peels and all… Blueberries, and arugula

I eat and drink these things and I'm not even usually hungry for solid food till about 3 o'clock in the afternoon
My solid food consists mainly of cooked vegetables… I like roasted sweet potatoes, sautéed kale, cooked tomatoes, and roasted beets. I usually have a little bit of cooked meat on hand as well

I have also helped people through hypnosis and trance, both erotically and non-erotically to help them with their quest for better health

I would love to know your thoughts on health, diet and exercise and what you do. I think it's so important to keep care of ourselves. Not only for ourselves, but for those we love

I have a rough history with healthy eating (eating disorder) and some health issues, mainly PCOS that makes eating healthy difficult at times. I know I will get my brat card revoked with this one but I drink A LOT of water. 🫣 Hahaha. Seriously though drinking water instead of soda I swear makes me feel better. I'm not much of a soda person but when I occasionally drink it I don't feel great after.

Many of my previous dynamics my Master/Dominant would suggest diet plans things like that and because I WANT to be a healthy person I'd abide. I have a HUGE issue with accountability when it comes to food and working out. I make all the excuses for myself and beat myself up about it. My biggest goal in my dynamics (agreed to by my Master/Dominant typically) is to make/continue building a good life for ourselves while in the dynamic. This includes building good habits if they aren't there and/or continuing to build good habits.

Healthy eating is something that I learned recently doesn't mean the same thing to each person. It's just as individual like our bodies and personalities. A friend of mine who is diabetic recently received a continuous glucose monitor to make life easier for her. The data that it's giving them is AMAZING!! Things that they were told are a must in their diabetic diet actually spiked their blood sugar!

So what's healthy for one might not be healthy for the next person. But while in a dynamic I want to be the best version of myself for my Master as well as be a good representation for them.

Hello from someone else with an eatting disorder! I typically, when spiralling, control my eatting to the n'th degree. Therefore, diet plans, restrictions, etc are a very slippery slope. Instead I practice intuitive eatting - eatting what my body craves but in moderation. Craving sugar - grapes. Want some chocolate - great, just not the whole bar. This keeps me healthiest for me in mind AND body. (Please note - I don't use the word healthy to describe myself as that isn't remotely attainable for me due to a neurological condition).

I've also been guilty of excessive exercise in the past (I can eat this donut if I do a double spin class, 40 mins of weight training and then swim 5k). So now I move in a way that feels good - dance has really helped me with that. A way to move my body with the end goal being expression rather than the number of calories I can consume. It's meant that my strength, stamina and flexibility has improved massively and it also has a huge benefit on my mental health - when I dance, my mind stills and I anxiety just slips away.

I agree with water - it just too delicious not to keep hydrated. At that helps my skin etc.

Congrats on getting sober from that amount of liquor CelloTrance! I detoxed myself cold Turkey 5 months ago, from drinking minimum a 375 ml bottle and max a 5th per day at my worst tolerance. Started the same day as I started a new job no less, and to add more insanity-factor we had just moved 1000 miles with a 3 month old baby plus our toddler😂

but I didn’t have seizures or anything- I was already taking kratom so that plus cannabis helped me maintain, plus being on the move 8 hours a day at work and then multiple hours with the kids helped me burn off energy. Oh and the biggest one- pounding pussy at least twice a day lol! My wife likes getting came in multiple times daily already but she was blown away by how my libido got even higher…she will gladly let a young sub help her with these energy levels😂

Eating plenty of protein has helped too…I just strive for an overall healthy lifestyle. Being outside with the kids is more mentally & physically fulfilling for me than tv or TikTok or anything like that ☀️ best of luck to everyone working on sobriety and health! and I hope that subs get the enforcement they need (wether about diet, staying sober etc) from their Doms, and that Doms use the discipline skills we use on our subs on ourselves as well, to be better examples for them.

Thank you for replying. I wasn't even thinking about eating disorders when I posted this. God bless you for all that you are attempting to do. Water is a wonderful thing to drink. One of the best things for you. And you're absolutely right diet is different for every person. With me as an older gentleman I want to, increase blood flow and I also wish to avoid having an enlarged prostate, which is not good for urination or sex… That's why I eat a lot of beets, tomatoes, and have cut back on coffee. I also drink a lot more water than I used to.

as I said in my post, I have also helped people through hypnosis with diet and exercise. Again, thank you so much for responding to the post and I wish you all the best.

This sounds like a really good plan. I know I'm a little excessive with my diet. I think it's because I'm 68 and I really have felt the benefits of changing the way I do things. I feel and look better now than I have in years. Water is a wonderful thing to drink and I love your exercise goals. I must say I love this website too. It is such a blessing to meet so many wonderful people.

oh man, God bless you, dude on your lifestyle choices. I was very, very blessed with my sobriety. I had a lot of help from God with it. I wasn't tempted at all. I also eat a lot of protein and have high protein vegetable powders that I add to my drinks, please keep in touch

Wow, mountain biking… That's pretty freaking cool. I mainly walk on a river Creek Trail with my dog almost every morning. It's bliss for both of us.
