One of the most intense BDSM experiences I've had is raceplay. There was a Navajo girl who wanted me to raceplay with her, and I was very reluctant. I taught on the rez and have a very deep respect and love for the people (Dine`). Well we got into it, and it really opened my eyes to the very deep seeded, almost inherent shame she felt for just being who she was. Raceplay was an intense cathartic release for her and I felt it too. It gave her ownership and ironically or paradoxically enhanced her self-esteem. I mean she was very proud of her people and her culture but she still felt the generational shame of just being her ethnicity. She preferred me for her play partner because I knew rez life and her culture better than any white man she tried to raceplay with. I've humiliated and degraded women (with their consent) in pretty vile ways, but this was very difficult for me to do until I understood what she got out of it. It was fucking intense, and I actually came to welcome the challenge of taking it to deeper and darker levels. It was also a creative challenge to come up with stuff outside the stereotypical racial insults and tropes most commonly used to racially degrade someone .
Raceplay isn't and shouldn't be for everyone. I'm not "into" it but I was with this girl whom I truly admire and respect enough to degrade her the way she wants to be and not hold back. It was so intense we'd have online aftercare. She liked me to tell her stories that she'd fall asleep to. Not going to lie, I fell in love with her. I've never felt more intimate with anyone I played with online than her.

I have met some folks into (but shy about) it in my ‘neck of the woods’ …out here in the boonies. If it is two consenting adults, l see nothing wrong with it, if all participants are making a free choice.
