this is always an interesting question. there are many states a person can enter. different people, situations, words can elicite many different submissive states.
while subspace as the dissociative state itself can be brought on by many different stimuli as well, it is a physiological reaction. it often feels different depending on the situation and the intensity and levels of awareness differ for me as well. It is a chemical reaction/ dump by the brain to disconnect from an experience, also the result of the brain switching to basic-order functions; adrenaline, endorphine, and other chemicals dumped and binding to opiate receptors; etc. the mind is such a beautiful toy. |
