I think this is a great question.
My simple answer is no. Im in no shape to care for a medically complex partner. Post car accident I still deal with my own stuff, my beloveds illnesses, and our third as they age. One of my play partners is medically complex. But we arent "partners". Another is a diabetic. Another has ptsd. And so on. It has nothing to do with a bigotry against having a medically complex partner. It has everything to do with what I can reasonably give a partner. Medically complex people have needs for time and emotional availability that are beyond what I can do. |

MasterBear thank you so much for your honesty. It is very refreshing to hear. My friends fear is that most would lie and say yes and not be honest. I told them that I honestly believe for every positive response there's probably 5 who would not. So many are probably afraid to say no but nobody should be. I can't thank you enough.

Oh, yes. I have been with people with a list of needs, some mental, some physical. Never stopped me!
