A recipe for.. pie

Entomologists nod and smile approval at the feast

Experiment on tight-bound man as meal for mini beast

Layer him in pastry crumbs, drizzle him with yoghurt drool

Watch his fear drip to dirt; see how ants and scorpions crawl

Glaze his parts with sugar syrup, add sweetness to the sweat

Leave him lying in bright hot sun, the crispness to perfect.

Butter, sugar, flour and more all rolled into a dough

Smoothed amoungst the floured mess her skin a pale mold

Placed into a perfect pan and set aside to wait

The filling soon goes pouring in adding substance before she bakes

Another rolled out pale skin atop her substance goes

And in to the firery oven to bake as her scent, it flows

Soon her pale smooth skin a perfect golden tan

She'll sit atop a windowsill as the breezy air doth fan.

And once she's cool the baker he does cut into her by knife

Serving her on a plate his excitement breathing life

And to his lips she goes again both pale
and golden tan

the inner fillings taste strikes him like the back of a firm hand

Then as he looks around the space his eyes do befall

An unforgiveable mistake she is not sweet at all

You see the sugar he did forget to sweeten her inside

So as beautiful as she appears she's not that great a pie

As he sits his face askew his carelessness the cause

He watches his dear old mate enjoy his pie with a small applause

His mate you see

followed the steps to a tee

Taking pause to smooth the flaws

The extra care and time he took did grant him a delight

The sweetest and the most *precious* of lovely little pies
