I love a sub dressing for me. Generally speaking, I wouldn't dictate what type of day to day clothing she would wear as I probably already like her style if that makes sense.

I love a woman wearing lingerie for me. I love watching them dress in it for me..or wearing it for me to remove 😉

The image of a woman putting on or taking off stockings is ironically sexy!

I like everything from classic boudoir lingerie to slutty bondage outfits..it's fun. I like a beautifully wrapped present and opening the present is fun.

I love taking a woman lingerie shopping...can be pretty fun...

I love dressing up for my Sir, and I especially love when he picks things out for me to wear that will please him.

The first time we met in person - just a (mostly, LOL) pg-rated lunch date- I was SO nervous getting ready for him. The night before, I went through probably 30 outfits trying to figure out what to wear. In the end I texted him pictures of my top 3 choices, and he selected his favorite. Knowing that we laid eyes on each other for the first time in real life with me wearing what he'd picked (out although geographically we were far apart), was fun and a little bit of a sensual thrill for us both, even though we didn't do anything more at that time.

I especially love dressing in something that only he and I know about and wearing it to a public place (whether it is hidden lingerie, or my favorite leather thigh garters, or a discrete toy, or body writing), it's fun to have a naughty secret just between the two of us even when I am dressed demurely to the untrained eye.

And for me, like a lot of the previous commenters, half (or MORE than half haha) of the fun is getting undressed, stripped, disheveled, and ravaged after all the dressing up!

For me personally it does depend on the mood. But for most parts I like "natural". What that means is when we are alone and guaranteed to be alone I like my subs naked or with very little clothing and either very subtle or no makeup.

When going out, I definitely prefer when the sub dresses up elegantly and in something which I like. And bonus marks if she surprises me with something which I like without having to tell her or pick it.

I'm a girly girl. So I always have pretty/sexy things to wear for him. My former Dominant (now deceased) had a thing for shoes and would send me shoe shopping with $500 or some large amount of money. I never asked for money or for him to spend on me but that was just how he was. I'd try on shoes and send him photos. He'd approve or not. It was a lot of fun.

When he came over I'd be dressed up at the door. thigh high's heels, corset. etc. He loved that.

If we were going out I'd ask him his preference. Skirt, dress, pants etc. He was reasonable so it was not a ridiculous thing where he wanted me to look foolish or inappropriate for the place we were going to. At our first meeting, we went to get a meal and then over to meet some people at a munch. He said he loved seamed stockings. Would never ask me to wear them at a first meet. And I don't do the 'prove your submission to me at hello' thing.

I wore pants and a jacket. Later he discovered a very sexy skimpy top under the jacket. And at the munch while talking I put my legs up on his legs and he could feel the seamed stockings underneath. It was fun to see his reaction.

He was a great Dominant but most important, a good man. He respected women. He respected me. So dressing for him was a great pleasure.

Now and then I'd photo bomb his cell. I am not a nude photo person, but a see through pashmina draped over me, or a thong and matching bra, etc. type. Stockings and heels of course.

He was supposed to be home, but had a meeting time change unknown to me. At the meeting his phone buzzes (incoming text message) and the phone starts moving across the table. Some guy at the meeting goes to grab it for him. But he knows it is probably photos of me in almost nothing.

So all 6'3" of him dives across the table and grabs the phone before the guy looks at it.

We laughed so hard, but I stopped for a while and then one day he says, "I miss the photos. Need photos!" LOL

What all this means for me is, it isn't about what random people online think. As a submissive I am driven to please him. If that is with clothing or without is up to him. I just want him happy. And if my going to the trouble of dressing up for him is what it takes, I am happy to do that.

Someone who feels I am more submissive naked, well, I see that as them trust tricks and superfluous behaviors to show what they should know is in my heart. Anyone can fake the outside showy stuff. I've seen experts do it. Spielberg would have been jealous. Most Dominants I have known much prefer what is genuine.
