@House Talion

Have you noticed these statistics to be better way back than they are now? I got into this in the fall of 1999 and it just seems that it was better long ago. But now it seems pretty hopeless in finding someone who cares.

Maybe I’m talking to the wrong people or maybe I’m lucky enough just to get that 0.02% but I have found so many genuine, wonderful ,lovely people on this website. People of substance. People that work long hard hours. Genuine good hearted hard-working people that also happen to have kinks. I meet people with real life problems, pains, illnesses, things that have happened in their past that have haunted them. I meet them in the chat room. I meet them in their blogs. I meet them in a forum post… I message them and get to know them . people on both sides of the slash… Male, female… I don’t think it’s quite as dire as that low percentage. That’s my take on it anyway.

As a male sub I could give similarly bleak numbers on femdommes, it's a bit different dymanic though and it depends on where and how you look at it. As far as "Where"- Over the broader internet beyond this site, It seems like it would break down to about 80% bots, "Financial dommes," and scammers, and 15% paid ("Tribute") professionals, and maybe 5 percent looking for a genuine connection. And of that 5 percent, many are not seeking the same thing you are- they may (for example) want more of an indentured servant type arrangement rather than a relationship based on kink.

Part of the reason for this is, I suspect, a lot of "newbie" male submissives easily fall into the sub-frenzy head-space, wanting to experience the dynamic first hand but don't really have any real opportunities to do so. So, "a horny male is easily led by his balls"- or his wallet, and sadly this makes them an all-too-easy mark. Not to be negative, but I know exactly from experience what the newly awoken sub-male subspace frenzy is like.

Now granted that is just what I've seen in the broader internet, not specifically this site which does a better job vetting the bots, scammers and paid professionals. And keep in mind, I joined this site not to "hook up" so much as to just share ideas and experiences.
