Like 'em a lot better than farm raised salmon... sautéed in a bourbon reduction over steak 😋

Haha same! But I've never had a bourbon reduction with mushrooms. Do you have a recipe by any chance? 🤤 My favorite is this recipe for creamy mushrooms. Oh my goodness! Seriously it's delicious over anything, but salmon. Not sure there is anything that can make that taste good. Hahaha.

This thread really took a turn.

yeah.. from forum fights on to the recent limp dicks, spotted dicks and now drunk salmon that don't swim around in their own shit but in the ocean where they can swim around in every other fish's shit, plastic bag remains and of course whale cum (I read somewhere they often miss the mark).

I love wild-caught seafood, but one must me mindful of what the wild caught seafood liked to eat and where they ate it.

It's quite literally a crap shoot.

Well, Miki, there's enough water volume to dilute the ocean shit to about nothing, but you do make a point.

I once stared out at over a hundred fishing boats in Prince William Sound and thought about how every crew on every boat shat in the ocean and the fish we caught swam around in it.

They are still. 100 % better fish than farm raised salmon.

Fish can't avoid shit, but to live in it and breath it in such high concentrations as a salmon farm... farm raised salmon, god no!

Of course. I was being my usual snarky self. I like natural seafood, but in moderation. Mercury is still a thing I see, but wild salmon, not specific to where, either north Atlantic or Alaskan is classified as "low merc content" .022 ppm mercury but the medical people still recommend 3 servings / week maximum.

Things like swordfish and shark.. much higher, shark ranging from .0979 to 4.54 ppm mercury.
I'd look up mercury content in people meat but there probably aren't any cannibals on this site.

In all fairness to the cannibals among us, they are intitled to know the chemical content of the meat they eat, especially when you consider all the shit we deal with both in and out of the water ]icon_smile.gif.

I'd look it up but Google would think I was one of those things...

Methinks there are no more of those in here.
