To me this is the very essence of finding a rewarding relationship that's beneficial to the submissive. And when the submissive party is assured he/she is moving in a safe and healthy direction, the service and devotion they long to give will naturally follow - thus rewarding the dominant with everything they seek and crave as well. No decent relationship can flourish in a vacuum.
