Lies are fractures in the foundation of the dynamic. They break the dynamic. Little white lies and omissions are still lies.
That bring said, it is human nature for even Doms to try to not upset their sub. We sometimes do that by framing what we are saying to reduce implied pain. The trap Doms fall into is undercutting the strength of our sub. It has been a long journey for me to be honest, even if I think the whole truth might be brutal. My little deserves to know ALL my faults and everything about me and she still accepts this flawed Daddy Dom. It makes me feel wonderful and despite those perceived flaws, she loves and cherishes me. I say all of the above, as I typically am known to seemingly appear off topic, to let you know I believe you made the right choice. Trust is based on the truth in the dynamic. Distrust is made up of ALL the lies and omissions. -DA |
