I am curious–all those of you who said they prefer bare because they like the sensation of smooth skin, don't you run into issues with bumps and stubbles? In my experience, removing all the hair ≠ smooth skin. It's difficult to get a really close shave in the genital area, and hair also grows so fast that it is quite difficult to ensure there's no stubble at all. I remember my ex once shaved himself completely below the belt, but the tiny bit of remaining stubble was so abrasive when I tried to ride him that we had to stop X) And then of course there's bumps, razor burn, ingrown hairs, etc. that are the not so happy side effects of shaving. Waxing works a bit better because there's no remaining stubble and the hair that grows back is much softer. Unfortunately, I used to get red bumps and skin irritation from waxing, too. So conventional attempts to completely remove the hair would not result in smooth skin for me but instead in bumpy, irritated skin. (I have never tried sugaring, though, which one other member mentioned.) Having watched enough amateur porn, I know that there are plenty of other women for whom hair removal has similarly ugly results. Of course, there are also lucky people out there who can wax or regularly shave down there while their skin stays happy and healthy.

So are y'all just some of the lucky ones for whom hair removal does indeed result in smooth skin? And I wonder: suppose your partner's skin always ends up irritated, with lots of bumps and such when they try to remove the hair. In that case, would you still prefer them to do it, or would you prefer hair over bumpy red bare skin?

As for my own preferences, while I am not in principle opposed to completely removing all my pubic hair, seeing as my skin in that area punishes me mercilessly for shaving and waxing, I now just trim it short. However, the pubic hair towards the sides is gone anyways because, when I was younger, I had my bikini zone lasered (seeing as shaving and waxing wasn't an option for me and I was worried about being "ugly" down there...). So I have a kind of landing strip situation going on now. I also prefer my partner's pubic hair trimmed, although not completely removed. I find that, when it's trimmed, it doesn't get in the way during oral sex, and I also find it looks more masculine than a complete lack of hair. I am also a sucker for a nice "happy trail", and I like some chest hair. Not a big fan of a hairy back, though.

For me - bare. I just prefer the way it looks & feels.
For him - chest hair is super hot, really not a fan of waxed or shaved chests. He normally shaves down below though; nothing fun or sexy about getting a pube in the back of your throat.

I prefere bare. It's more naked and naked is good. It also doesn't hide anything from my eyes which is important in a D/s relationship.

For those of you waiting for waxing saloons to reopen, why not have your Dom do it to/for you? It's not very difficult. It hurts a little bit which makes it fun and sexy, and it's cheap.
