Intelligence in s types

Sapiosexuality- one of my favourite words. And unapologetically so.

I’ve always dated and been attracted to nerds perhaps because of my upbringing where I was always exposed to intellectual debates as a child and high intellect runs in my family.

I can get highly aroused and motivated by intellectual discourse. Even in the absence of emotional and sexual attraction. That doesn’t mean the latter aren’t important to me. It just means some traits drive me more than the others and makes it a bit easier for the dynamic to click.

It just needs to be taken at face value. It’s about personal/freedom of choice when picking a partner or choosing ones company. There are a lot of complexities attached to why we choose what we choose as admirable traits when looking for an ideal partner. And these are highly subjective. Questioning an individual’s choice may not be the best approach as they have that basic right. As long as they do no harm.

Perhaps as I’m growing older, I’m learning to appreciate the ‘to each her own’ philosophy.
