So what does the 'no' in someone's profile?

I've noticed that there are some members who write one or two words in brackets.

(chained)
(uncollared)
(taken)
(owned by)

and the like. And then there's

(no)

What does that mean? Is the person saying 'don't send me messages' / 'don't talk to me' or something like that?
