Late to the party -- and apologies if perhaps someone else voiced the same opinion.
I believe this may fall along the similar lines as Kinks - Everyone's tastes are different. Especially in matters like this. Some people might find solace in someone much older than them, or enjoyment. Others might find a partner who is older restricting and limiting, or just outright not enjoyable. It may be a little silly, but I do believe that sometimes the person who could match ourselves may have been born much earlier, or much later than ourselves. It's possible~ Overall, I'd say give it a try just once. If you can't handle it, then that's ok! But, if you're going to give it a shot you need to be prepared to let the other person know "Hey, I'm sorry. I don't want to string you along. I don't think I can do this with you." As others have stated. Clear and open communication is key. But, otherwise. How will you know? You might discover something wonderful. Especially if that person seems to match you very well. |
