Adding pictures to blog

Ok what am I doing wrong I found the picture upload icon and am able to upload pictures but they still are not posting to the blog page. They show in the screen that pops up and says they are uploaded but they don’t show on the blog post? What am I doing wrong?

After you upload it, click on it. There should be a little square appear in the center of the picture when your mouse hovers above the picture in your popup.
