Everyone has little things they do that may seem weird to others, but its our thing and it usually makes us laugh.

My wife and I do this thing ever so often, whenever we have sonethingbwe dont want to do whether it's a chore or cooking or as simple as refilling a drink, we call out to the next room as if someone is actually there to respond. "slave, . . ."

So what does everybody else do that's their 'thing'?

When in public, on occasion, my husband and I will call each other by wife unit, husband unit and child unit. The joke for us is when we casually throw into that conversation the humans will never know.
