Yes, absolutely, you're not alone. I do watch them from time to time but I tend to put my hand over the screen in certain parts. I get freaked out. I actually can have bad dreams afterward.
I like psychological thrillers or drama instead, crime drama, like detective or investigative shows. I tend to figure them out quickly though  . My inquiring mind works fast. Acorn T.V on Prime has some great ones.
