Hello there,

Can anyone tell me how to go about adding a link to a gif so that it shows the gif and not the link in my final draft?

For everything I've seen, that hasn't happened yet. It may have something to do with the programming of the site keeping everything basic.

Download the gif, and then when writing a blog post use the "insert image" function and upload it.

@HT this is what I’m beginning to think. I tried a few different things and nothing worked.

@O This was the first thing I tried and it was just. not. happening 😩

In the end, I decided to just add the still images and be done with it.

I was not able to upload it at all. I’m using my phone today - would that have made a difference?

Yes, it definitely may have. I have never attempted to post a blog on mobile. You could always save the draft on mobile and then add the gifs & publish from a PC, or publish without gifs at first, then go back and add them when you get on the PC.
