That One Word

I'm asking for that one word but have 3 questions .

1.What is one word you would choose to describe persons who identify with BDSM as part of their life?

2. Is that the word you would use for a group or yourself?

3. Is it the same word you would have chosen at the beginning of your journey?

I'm interested in your perspective and choice if only one word can be used. The why of your answer would be icing on the cake!

Is this a serious question or a Forum Game?

The introduction makes it seem as the latter.

Both types of posts (discussion oriented and forum games) have their value in here, don't get me wrong, but if it is meant as a serious question I'd have to note that to boil those things down to just one word and have it do those questions any level of justice at all would be a mighty tall order, and for me, downright impossible. My personality and experience with this stuff is very diverse and occasionally complicated.

It would be like asking "Describe your first date and the person you went out on that date with the same word."

So let's say one would answer "Fun!" While that would be accurate from one perspective, it is just one word and leaves out entire volumes of other information.

Of course it would be a big help if you could start us off with an example.

How would you answer with one word?

I do not mean to "sound" snarky. I just wanna know.

1. Kinky
2. Yes
3. Yes

It's a convenient catch all phrase. Everyone may not identify with the phrase, but it at least let's the other person know roughly what ballpark you're playing in. A good icebreaker or way to self identify that's not too graphic or telling. (Eg, I prefer to say kinky over dominant or switch when first meeting people)

I enjoy using “combo words“ to provide multiple meanings 🌹🔥
I usually end up finding an extra meaning after I establish the base
-With much to learn and discover-
For Me: it clicks with my thoughts of how My perception of this lifestyle comes off as a naturally fun, naughty, kinky concept, the lightness
Which of course has its opposite of dark, naturally like every other aspect of everything we process ( the yin n yang) Both are equally delicious (in my opinion;)
So the Keys to the process and the journey
Discovered throughout , like a treasure hunt, to open new doors, windows , worlds, dimensions 🤩
🤭I feel like it’s a great name for a sexy club designed and created for...

1.What is one word you would choose to describe persons who identify with BDSM as part of their life?
Perverts icon_biggrin.gif
noun
/ˈpəːvəːt/
a person whose sexual behaviour is regarded as abnormal and unacceptable.

2. Is that the word you would use for a group or yourself?
Yes, both.

3. Is it the same word you would have chosen at the beginning of your journey?
No. I was much more susceptible to how others viewed words in the beginning. Mostly I had only heard a lot of these words used in a derogatory form. However, having spent a lot of time “deconstructing” views I had simply unconsciously carried passed on from others, I now not only am a lot less “touchy” about many “negative” words, I am a lot more accepting of those aspects of myself icon_smile.gif I am a pervert, and a slut and weak and many other things that I originally would never have felt comfortable accepting or stating about myself.
