For several years I have been looking at the techniques used to fully encase a willing female bondage captive. The sub encased for any length of time may have to relieve themselves. Bodily functions can not always be held off. As the Dom/Domme it might be a good idea to prepare for a clean up. Just in case.

Mummification scenes of this type affect body temp, blood pressure, and hydration. If the person is on medications for anything one would do well to investigate if those drugs affect the above-mentioned conditions.

Also would not be the time to dabble with drink or drugs. There was a fatality some years ago when the bottom took some recreational drugs and didn't tell his partner. By the time the partner saw distress, it was too late. This devastated the partner's life in and out of the scene, and the police seldom care about consent in a fatality.

This also suggests you NOT mute your partner, you need to have a way for the bottom to signal or speak if in trouble.

You seem to have done a great deal of research into this but you do not say if you have successfully done this with anyone. You also do not say how long the person can be safely kept in this type of bondage.

You describe what is considered edge play. The further onto the edge you go, typically the less time you can indulge that behavior due to the risk.

Which, I hope, demands practice and as Sage pointed out, a need for heightened safety protocols to avoid blind spots.

Mummification can be a lot of fun, but it can also be dangerous, especially in the scenario you are painting. Practice patience and slowly evolve to the scenario you are describing. I would suggest a much more breathable flexible material in the beginning. Lose the rod concept for now, wand is cool, later on. total sensory deprivation is an acquired taste and is a step by step process. make sure, as you mentioned, all parties concerned know/accept and fully understand where you are going with the experience. this is not one of those, "Suprise!" sort of scenes. I was lucky in that no one was harmed. Eventually i got it down but only after a lot of communication, experimentation with different materials, and a very patient submissive. DO NOT RELY on porn videos. Reality is far more intense than any 2-D image can communicate.

Unfortunately I have done total female encasement for 56 hours. Unfortunate in that yes she is had to pee and the first time I did not get the depends under her butt in time, clean-up isle #3 please.
