Reach out via Pm and tell them why you enjoyed there post (or blog)
If you reach out to others, they often tend to reach back. You have nothing loose but your time. I've made some wonderful friends here. All it takes is a little effort.

I personally haven't used Chat in a long time* but I understand its also great place to find other like minded.
