Gender Fluid, Non-Binary, etc. Meanings
I've been coming across some ways that folks identify with that are not familiar to me. Gender fluid and non-binary are two that I know nothing about. Transgender, Bi, Gay, Lesbian are terms that I can pretty much figure out, although I do not know the finer details of them. I do have a gay brother, and have interracted with him and his friends over the years but have never really sat down and discussed it with him to understand their choices better. I have also worked with gay men and lesbian women, some who are married to their partners and raising children.
Anyway, I would like to understand what these lifestyles mean to those who have chosen them as well as how they are defined, as well as any that I haven't mentioned in this post. My hope is that no one will attack or shame anyone who chooses to respond. Anyone care to share about their non-straight lifestyle choices? |
