But hope to buckle down by winter. I have friends who self publish. And I will likely go this route , rather than looking to be signed by a publishing house. When I complete my draft I’ll look into some beta readers and pay for some one to edit it. Then look into which option for publishing- Amazon seem very popular. |

Amazon charges around $500 and that’s for everything and you keep all of your royalties

there are so many platforms these days. I use to think as I was growing up, that I would send my manuscripts right to Penguin, Random House or Scholastic ( I was a child at the time) thinking that I would be printed right away and be on the NY best sellers list . oh the uninhibited, unstained heart of a child. |

The woman that wrote the books that became 5 movies in the After series started out writing on WattPad. Now she on at least her 3rd series of books. I don't believ you have to pay to b e on WattPad.

Ive heard some good things about them on various writing sites. I need to look into them more. |
